There are about 7 million short names (up to 5 letters) and practically infinite long names (5 to 10 letters). Nevertheless, all these names have basic structures in common, which are essential for naming.

"Zentrifugale Tendenz"
The natural tendency of a language to branch out into a series of regional dialects. Examples: Austrian German, Swiss German, Plattdeutsch. They all testify to centrifugal tendency of dialects in the German language.

"Zentripetale Tendenz"
The cultural tendency of a number of dialects of a language to merge into a standard language in response to a center of gravity; often against a politically motivated background. Example: Mandarin dialects of the Chinese language, which show a centripetal tendency especially due to the influence of the mass media

A name that contains no logical connection with the company named after it or its offerings or attributes. Examples: 'Orange' (telecom brand of France Telecom) Random names can also be constructed names that have no intrinsic meaning at all. Examples: 'Yahoo! (browser), 'Scenic' (Renault model), 'Qashqai' (Nissan model)
